A family in Jefferson County is reeling after their dog died suddenly. It all happened after the dog was exposed to toxic algal blooms at Anderson Lake State Park, which is south of Port Townsend.
Anderson Lake is a Washington State Park with a few miles of XC trails surrounding the lake. There is an inner loop that is hiking only, but the outer loop and old road bed is bicycle friendly. There is also a trail across the street from the entrance that has some more advanced technical features and a bit more gravity enhancements.
